Juve host an injury-ladden Catania side whose main goal at the moment is not slipping back into the relegation zone. In other words, it’s unlikely the Old Lady will drop points on Wednesday evening.
Juventus must be confident going into their midweek encounter with Catania. Oh sure, they had a rough time of it two rounds ago, pulling ahead 2-0 only to lose 4-2 to Giuseppe Rossi andFiorentina. And their Champions League match against Real Madrid and the referee surely could’ve gone better. But the Old Lady made it look simple against Genoa, and their necessary three points helped them keep the pace with Napoli, even if AS Roma are looking harder and harder to catch.
